Be Right Back

Oh hello! I’ve been meaning to pop on here to give you a bit of an update re: my whereabouts. I haven’t taken any significant amount of time off of my blog since I launched in 2010 (what), so it feels really weird to not be checking in here regularly.

The truth is… things have been pretty nutty behind the scenes. We’ve been dealing with toddler sickness’, family health scares (everything is going to be fine, thank goodness)… Big project developments are happening, plus we’re planning our own upcoming renovation. In addition, perhaps most excitingly for me, a full blog and website re-design is in the works. I miss this space and the new plans have re-inspired me on a whole new level. Just you waiiiiit.

I haven’t had the bandwidth to properly manage it, but the truth is I’ve been working on relaunching my site for literally three years now, and it just hasn’t happened yet. To save my sanity and ensure my mental health stays afloat I’ve given myself permission to step back from a few things to prioritize this big and exciting change that’s been years in the making. 

I promise to be back from a little mental health break with a vengeance, complete with plenty more detailed updates. I’ll have my regularly scheduled programming back up and running. And I’ll be doing a full blown run down of all the details behind our upcoming home renovations (we’re pumped and I’ve been dying to share every moment). Thank you for sticking around, I promise to make it worth your while.
